Kunst und  Öffentlichkeit, die  Konstruktion eines  "öffentlichen Bildes" sind Themenfelder, die
zu  widersprüchlichen Standpunkten herausfordern.

Um das Ausstellungsprojekt PUBLI©DOMAIN auch auf  eine  vielseitig  meinungsbildende  und
theoretische Grundlage zu stellen, wurde ein THINK TANK eingerichtet.

Hier sollen in einer ersten Projektphase die eingeladenen Künstlerinnen  und Künstler gemeinsam mit
TheoretikerInnen  aus den unterschiedlichsten  Fachbereichen  und  allen am Thema Interessierten in Diskussion treten.

Art and the public sphere;  the  construction  of a "public image": these are areas of ideas which
give rise to sharply conflicting points of view.

A think tank was  accordingly  set up with a view to stimulating  the development of a wide variety 
of opinions while laying  down  theoretical  foundations  for  the exhibition project PUBLI©DOMAIN.

The THINK TANK  will  provide a  forum in which, during the early  stages of the project, these 
matters will be discussed  by  the  contributing  artists  and  by  theoreticians specializing in a
wide range of fields, as  well as by members of the public who may wish to participate.
