Martin Parr

Geboren 1952 in Epsom, Großbritannien. 1970-73 Studium der Fotografie an der Manchester Polytechnic. 1975-90 zahlreiche Lehraufträge u.a. am National College of Art and Design, Dublin, der Chelsea School of Art, der School of Documentary Photography, Newport und am West Surrey College of Art and Design, Farnham. 1990-92 Gastprofessor für Fotografie an der University of Industrial Arts, Helsinki. Seit 1994 Mitglied der Magnum Agency. Lebt in Bristol.
