Without using the camera from the beginning, this work targets the heart of a sightseeing image - the motive. For this, the artist first chose the Lichtschwert (sword of light), a contemporary sculpture. As a contrast, a foreign object was inserted for the duration of the triennial in this existing motive, creating a new one, as a physically real composition. It is up to the passerby, whether native or tourist, to finish the photographic act or, because of the "disturbance", to leave it undone. The unique, non-repeatable situation can thus be approached as a curious snapshot, or as the indispensable documentation of a change of motive.
