Geboren 1949 in Stockport, United Kingdom. 1965-70 Berkshire College of Art und St Martin's School of Art. 1970 BA Hons in Fine Art (Malerei). 1972-74 Assistant Advertising Photographer (John S Clarke Studio, London). 1974-77 Photographer, British Museum. Seit 1979 Lehraufträge an verschiedenen Universitäten und Schulen in Großbritannien, Finnland, Israel und Russland. Lebt in Oxford.
